The CEREC Process
Your CEREC appointment begins with tooth preparation and a digital scan of the treatment area. Our software creates a detailed 3D model, and Dr. Dunville or Dr. Mathie designs your custom restoration on screen. The design is then sent to our in-office milling unit, which carves a precise restoration from a block of premium ceramic in approximately 15–20 minutes. The restoration is then polished, customized and permanently bonded to your tooth — all in one visit.
